Statue of Richard III, King of England from 1483 until his death in 1485. He was the last king of the Plantagenet dynasty. This statue stands on the NE corner of the square in front on the Leicester Cathedral. The flowers and candle celebrate his reburial after his remains were recently discovered under a car park.
